Located in Tanzhou Town, Zhongshan City, Zhongshan Tauras Technologies Co., Ltd (its former was Zhuhai Nanyuxing Electronic Co., Ltd) was founded in November 1998 and is mainly specializing in producing and selling the electronic transformers of neon lights.
Adhering to the business philosophy of “keep quality-centred to achieve customer value”, Zhongshan Tauras has obtained good reputation in the industry and has been recognized unanimously by customers. From 1998 to 2001, Zhongshan Tauras developed rapidly. By 2001, there has been 100 employees in our company, which laid solid foundation for the further development.
In January, due to the development needs of the company, the factory was moved to Cuizhu Industrial Zone, Qianshan, Zhuhai. The factory area was expanded to 600 square meters, and the number of employees reached more than 200.
In 2003, the plant increased by 1650 square meters, and initiated the standardized production line, resulting in rapid rise of production capacity. At the same time, the company gradually improve the organizational structure, standardize the management system, so that it transformed from a workshop to a formal enterprise.
In 2004, the company got significant breakthrough for its product R&D works’ where the first green and energy-saving LED water-proof switch power was developed independently at home.
Meanwhile, with the forward-looking and keen market insight, the company made the strategic adjustment on its product structure; where the LED power supplies products were put into the first place; similarly the sales channel was also expanded to the international market.
In April, the company was invited to join in China Association of Lighting Industry and thence became a member of China Association of Lighting Industry.
In April, the company was awarded the title of “the key enterprise with the continuous qualified quality and trustworthy brand” after its electronic transformer series products for the neon light were successfully supervised and inspected by the state.
In January, the LED water-proof switch power series products of the company passed UL certification and were granted the UL certificate.
In March, the LED water-proof switch power series products passed the CE constant voltage and the CE constant current safety certification and were granted the corresponding certificates.
In May, the LED water-proof switch power casing designed by the company was granted the design patent certificate.
In 2005, the LED water-proof switch power series products researched and produced by the company started to produce in a large quantity, and the market demands were increased continuously; in order to satisfy with the increasing market demand, the company increased its factory area to 1,650m2 and started to use new production line; which made the company strengthen its mass production capacity of LED water-proof switch power products.
In May, the company passed ISO9001 quality management system certification and was granted the certificate; the standardized and systematic quality management system laid solid base for its high-speed development.
In July, the LED water-proof switch power series products passed RoHs certification (EU environmental certification) and were granted the corresponding certificate.
In September, the electronic transformer of neon light was awarded the title of “Top-quality neon light product of China” by The Neon Lamp Committee of China Advertising Association.
In January, the company was invited to join in The Neon Lamp Committee of China Advertising Association and became the member unit of The Neon Lamp Committee of China Advertising Association.
In July, the LED water-proof switch power series products passed EMC certification (European electromagnetic compatibility certification) and were granted the corresponding certificate.
In November, the LED water-proof switch power series products passed FCC certification (American electromagnetic compatibility certification) and were granted the corresponding certificate.
In November, the LED water-proof switch power series products passed IP66 & IP67 certification (European water-proof certification) and were granted the corresponding certificate.
The year of 2009 was a development milestone of the company. In order to focusing on promoting the company brand, the company was renamed as “Zhuhai Tauras Technologies Co., Ltd”; which was maintained identical to the product’s registered trademark so as to facilitate for market identification.
In March, the total factory area was 10,000m2 and plenty of high-end R&D and management personnel were introduced continuously.
In May, the LED water-proof switch power series products passed KC certification (Korean safety certification) and were granted the corresponding certificate.
In August, the LED water-proof switch power series products passed MM certification (German installation safety mode certification) and were granted the corresponding certificate.
In September, the LED water-proof switch power series products passed IP68 certification (European water-proof certification) and were granted the corresponding certificate.
In July, the LED water-proof switch power series products were recognized as the “well-known and brand-name product of Guangdong Province” by CHC Guangdong Committee.
In the same year, the sales volume broke through a hundred million Yuan; the company stepped into a new development stage.
In January 2011, Zhuhai Tauras was invited to join in The Neon Lamp Committee of China Advertising Association and became the member unit of The Neon Lamp Committee of China Advertising Association.
In February 2011, the LED water-proof switch power series products passed SAA certification (Australian safety certification) and were granted the corresponding certificate.
In July 2011, the LED water-proof switch power series products were recognized as the “well-known and brand-name product of Guangdong Province” by CHC Guangdong Committee again.
In January 2012, Tauras became the member unit of LIGHT SOURCES&SIGN ADVERTISING COMMITTEE OF CHINA ADVERTISING ASSOCIATION.
In Jun 2012, the company obtained national Practical Patent certificate for 6 models of power supply.
In Augus 2012t, LED waterproof switch power series products were recognized as the “well-known and brand-name product of Guangdong Province” by CHC Guangdong Committee again.
In June 2013, Tauras obtained the patent certification of indoor switching power supply.
Tauras purchased a land in Zhongshan city, which occupies 15,000 square meters. Tauras Industrial Park was built up. The factory then relocated to this new site in Tanzhou Town, Zhongshan City, only 5 minutes drive to Zhuhai and less than 1 hour drive respectively to Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Macau and Hongkong.
To keep consistent with our factory site, Tauras was renamed formally as “Zhongshan Tauras Technologies Co., Ltd”, so as to facilitate our oversea business and promotion.
In 2017, reaching another milestone, Tauras cooperated with Coke Cola and supplied led power supplies to their Vending Machine project.
To improve production capacity further, Tauras adopted more machines and developed automated production. Key equipment are as PCB wave soldering machine, SMT reflow soldering machine, auto-test devices, ultrasound cleansing machine, PU auto-filling machine, sufficient capacity of auto-aging system.
Tauras launched complete series of led drivers for refrigerator lighting, which covers almost all the application needs of commercial refrigerators, freezers, coolers, merchandisers, food & beverage display on the market. Tauras became the expertise of led drivers used in commercial refrigerators with a wide coverage of global market, especially in Europe, Southern America and Northern America.
